Nai Gaj Dam: Finance Minister appears before Supreme Court

Finance Minister Asad Umar appeared before the Supreme Court bench hearing the matter regarding the construction of Nai Gaj Dam in Sindh.
The three member bench headed by Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar was not happy with the performance of the government.
The Finance Minister informed the court that the matter of Nai Gaj dam has been placed before the ECNEC and forwarded to the cabinet for approval.
Asad Umar said the ECNEC is scheduled to meet on 25th January and matter will be discussed.
The bench directed the finance minister to apprise the court of any decision taken in the ECNEC meeting.
The court then adjourned the hearing of the case for two weeks.
