Commander Sri Lankan Navy Vice Admiral RC Wijegunaratne called on Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa in Rawalpindi on Thursday.
Matters relating to regional security and professional interest were discussed.
The visiting dignitary acknowledged sacrifices and achievements of Pakistan Army in its fight against terrorism.
He also recognized efforts of Pakistan Army for bringing peace and stability to the region.
