Imran Khan from Quetta Baluchistan pursuing PhD in Italy contributed in discovering gravitational waves

ROME: A Pakistani researcher Imran Khan has also contributed in discovery of gravitational waves.
Khan 25, belongs to a middle class family based in Quetta, Pakistan.
He is pursuing his PhD at Gran Sasso science Institute (GSSI) in Italy.
He is a part of 9 early stage researchers and co-authors of the PRL paper submitted for detection of gravitational waves.
He secured 892 marks in intermediate and got scholarship from FAST Peshawar.
He was also offered scholarship by a Turkish institute in 2015.
Earlier, the news of Karachi born Professor Nergis Mavalvala went viral who assisted the team in detection of gravitational waves.
