In a historical move, Smart Cards replace old registration books in Punjab

LAHORE - Punjab government starts issueing smart cards as replacement of vehicle registration books from tomorrow to facilitate the citizens.
According to sources at Punjab Excise Department, all arrangements for the new registration system have been finalized.
The source said the machines procured for the smart cards can prepare nearly twenty-two thousand cards daily.
