Explosion at a bar in Japan, at least 42 people injured

TOKYO – At least 42 people were left injured with one in a precarious condition in an explosion at a bar in Sapporo in northern Japan, on Sunday.

The reason behind the blast is still unknown but the explosion caused a number of buildings to collapse; some say it was a gas blast.

According to Japan Times, the two-storey restaurant is in the Hiragishi district of Sapporo, which is the largest city on the northern island of Hokkaido
