Junaid Jamsheed laid to rest: Glimpses of funeral prayers

KARACHI: (APP) Religious scholar and prominent Naat Khawan, Junaid Jamshed, was laid to rest at Darul Uloom Korangi graveyard on Thursday afternoon.
The burial was attended by a large number of people representing various walks of life.
Earlier, the `Namaz-i-Janaza' was offered at a ground in DHA here.
Eminent religious scholar, Maulana Tariq Jamil, led the funeral prayer, which was attended by a large number of people from various walks of life.
Earlier, the coffin wrapped in the national flag was brought from PNS Shifa hospital for funeral prayers.
The body was then taken to Darul Uloom Korangi graveyard for the burial.
