Eid ul Azha holidays: Ministry of Interior clarified the revised notification

ISLAMABAD - Ministry of Interior has responded over the news of the revised notification for the Eid ul Azha holidays.
Ministry clarified on Thursday that a so-called revised notification regarding the Eidul Azha holidays was, in fact, fake as the department had already made the announcement.
The ministry had earlier announced that all offices will remain closed from August 21 to August 23, 2018, however, a revised notification was circulating on social media which spread an assumption that the government had extended the Eid holidays by one day.
“It is notified for general information that 21st to 24thAugust 2018 (Tuesday to Friday) shall be public holidays on the occasion of the religious festival of Eid-ul-Azha,” the fake notification said.
