Good News for Pakistan from Saudi Arabia

During a joint press conference at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Islamabad, Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Furhan Al Saud highlighted the significant investment opportunities present in Pakistan across various sectors. He expressed confidence in moving forward with projects deemed worthy of investment, following a comprehensive presentation by Pakistani officials on strategic areas of interest. However, specifics regarding the targeted sectors were not disclosed during the conference.

Al Saud emphasized Saudi Arabia's commitment to advancing projects in Pakistan, acknowledging the contributions of Pakistani expatriates to the kingdom's development.

He expressed gratitude for their efforts and expressed hope that through governmental initiatives, both countries could further enhance their mutual cooperation and benefit.

In addressing the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, Al Saud criticized the inadequacy of international efforts, noting that over 33,000 civilians had lost their lives and warning of a potential famine. He described the situation as unacceptable, highlighting the failure of the international system and governments to fulfill their responsibilities.

Calling for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, Al Saud stressed the urgency of allowing humanitarian aid to reach those in need, condemning the ongoing restrictions despite previous UN Security Council resolutions. He urged for greater action to alleviate the suffering of the people in Gaza and ensure the delivery of essential assistance.
