Pakistan tax collection hits highest level of history with Rs 6,100 billions

Chairman FBR has said that the newly elected Prime Minister has directed to keep the IMF program on track while the current financial year is expected to collect Rs 6100 billion in taxes.

Speaking to reporters in Islamabad on Friday, FBR Chairman Dr Muhammad Ashfaq Ahmed said that Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif had directed to keep the IMF program on track.

The Chairman FBR said that the Prime Minister has also emphasized on meeting the annual tax target, hoping to collect Rs. 6100 billion in taxes in the current financial year.
