Indian Muslim boys arrested for singing Pakistani national anthem in UP

Police in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh have registered a case against two teenage boys for allegedly listening and singing Pakistani national anthem.

According to the BBC, the incident took place in Sanghai Morawan village in Bareilly district of Uttar Pradesh.

The arrest came after the neighbour lodged a complaint to police. The matter is being investigated.

The two youths were also kept in custody overnight for questioning.
