Pakistan wants peaceful relations with neighbouring countries: PM

Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that Pakistan wants peaceful relations with neighboring countries and solution of all issues through dialogue.

He was talking to Member of the British Parliament and Chairman UK Conservative Party, Brandon Lewis in Islamabad on Monday.

The Prime Minister presented an overview of the regional situation, focusing on India and Afghanistan.

During the meeting, matters pertaining to Pak-UK bilateral relations, strengthening of trade and investment ties, role of Pak diaspora and overall regional situation came under discussion.

The Prime Minister highlighted the government's reforms agenda.

Brandon Lewis expressed the hope that improved security situation in the region will follow greater investment from the UK companies.

Meanwhile, Talking to British Cabinet Minister and Chairman of the Conservative Party, UK Brandon Lewis, Information Minister Chaudhry Fawad Hussain says Pakistan is open for investment and tourism as visa policy has been revamped.

Information Minister said Pakistan enjoys cordial and longstanding relationship with United Kingdom and it would like to further strengthen these bilateral ties in areas mutually beneficial for the people of both countries.

He said Pakistan has huge potential for religious and mountainous tourism besides having rich and diverse culture.

Brandon Lewis said there is potential for UK Companies to invest in Pakistan.
