In the latest market updates, local gold prices concluded their upwardtrend on Thursday, experiencing a decrease in the value of 24-karat gold byRs500 per tola, settling at Rs214,300.
The Karachi Sarafa Association reported that the 10-gram 24-karat goldended the day at Rs183,728, witnessing a drop of Rs428, while the 10-gram22-karat gold closed at Rs166,452, down by Rs393.
In contrast to gold, the price of silver remained unchanged in the domesticmarket, with both 24-karat silver and 10-gram 24-karat silver finishing atRs2,580 and Rs2,211.93, respectively.
It’s essential to note that domestic gold prices are closely tied tofluctuations in international prices and the local currency’s interbankexchange rate.
On the global front, the international spot is currently trading at$1,966.65, indicating a 0.36 percent increase compared to its previousclose.
