RAWALPINDI – Afghan President Ashraf Ghani phoned COAS General Qamar JavedBajwa to express grief and sorrow over the loss of lives in terroristincidents on Monday.

According to the ISPR, the Afghan president expressed his condolences overthe loss of precious lives in recent terrorist incidents.

Ahsraf Ghani also assured the COAS of enhanced border security measures onthe Afghan side as assistance to Pak security forces during the electionperiod.

COAS Qamar Javed Bajwa thanked the Afghan president for expressing hisconcern over the terrorist incidents.
