KABUL – Atleast four militants affiliated with the Islamic State of Iraqand Syria (ISIS) terrorist group were killed in the latest US airstrike ineastern Kunar province of Afghanistan.

At least four militants affiliated with the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria(ISIS) terrorist group were killed in the latest US airstrike in easternKunar province of Afghanistan.

The 201st Silab Corps of the Afghan Military in the East said Thursday thatthe US military carried out airstrike on ISIS hideout in the past 24 hoursusing unmanned aerial vehicle.

The source further added that the latest airstrike was carried out inLechalam area located in Manogi district and as a result four militantshave been killed.

According to the Silab Corps of the Afghan National Army, at least oneinsurgent was also wounded during the same airtrstrike.
