WASHINGTON - Pakistan seek democratic party presidential candidate support against India over Occupied Kashmir.
Pakistani American Texas-based leading Pakistani businessman and high ranking influential member of the Democratic Party Tahir Javed and his fellow Nouman Hussain held meetings with the Democratic Party candidates in the race for the presidential race.
During the meetings, Beto O’Rourke, a Democratic presidential candidate, expressed serious concerns over deteriorating situation in occupied Kashmir. Mr O’Rourke was of the view that the United States must come forward and put its efforts for ensuring peace and stability in the South Asia.
In another meeting with former vice-president of the U.S. Joe Biden, Mr Javed apprised him about the updated situation in the disputed Himalayan region. Mr Biden stated that silence could not be observed over human rights’ violations and atrocities by Indian troops, and it would be too late, if the issue were not raised [at international forums].
