ISLAMABAD - DG ISPR Major General Asif Ghafoor warned leading journalist cum analyst over spreading false news against Armed Forces.
DGISPR Major General Asif Ghafoor has warned defense analyst Zaid Hamid not to spread misinformation about the armed forces. Zaid Hamid claimed in a tweet that the Indian pilot WC Abhinandan was released by government against wishes of Armed Forces.
He claimed, "I know that the Pakistan Air Force was angry at Imran Khan's release of AbhiNandan. At that time when the enthusiastic Pak Air Force was roaring to destroy the enemy, PAF was annoyed by Imran Khan's government.
”When this claim was made by Zaid Hamid, DGISPR Major General Asif Ghafoor commented on the Armed Forces issues. It is advisable to do so carefully. DG ISPR said please refrain from spreading misinformation, especially about armed forces.
