Three Levies Force personnel martyred in Pishin blast

In Balochistan, three Levies Force personnel were martyred and three others injured in a remote-controlled bomb blast near the official vehicle of Assistant Commissioner District Pishin, Aamir Muhammad Khan in Pishin on Friday.

The bomb was planted in a motorcycle.

The injured Levies personnel were admitted to Civil Hospital Pishin for treatment.

Prime Minister Imran Khan has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the loss of precious lives of Levies personnel in Pishin blast.

In a statement, he condemned the blast and lauded sacrifices of Levies towards law and order and security.

The Prime Minister called for a report into the incident from the provincial government.

Imran Khan also expressed his sympathies with the bereaved families.

Condemning Pishin blast, Information Minister Chaudhry Fawad Hussain said all the nefarious attempts to disrupt peace and progress in Balochistan will be foiled.

He said the efforts and sacrifices of the armed forces, police, Levies, Frontier Corps, and other law enforcement agencies will not go waste.

The Minister commiserated with the families of the martyrs and prayed for early recovery of the injured in the Pishin blast.

Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser, Deputy Speaker Qasim Khan Suri and Information Minister Chaudhry Fawad Hussain have strongly condemned the bomb blast near Pishin bypass, Balochistan, causing loss of precious lives of security personnel.          

In their statements, the Speaker and Deputy Speaker termed the terror attack as shameful act of terrorism and expressed heartfelt grief and sorrow over the loss of precious lives of security personnel.
