In the World Cup, Pakistan lost to India. The next match will be played in Bangalore on Friday, October 20th, against Australia. Former Pakistani key player Amir Sohail has given his opinion about what kind of pitch they might find in Bangalore.
In the ICC One Day World Cup, Pakistan suffered a shameful defeat to their traditional rival, India, losing by 7 wickets yesterday. Now, the national team's next test is on Friday, October 12th, against Australia in Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore.
Regarding the pitch in Bangalore, former opening batsman Amir Sohail, in light of his experience with the game, said that Bangalore's pitch is tricky. The tricky pitch is going to be big challenge for Pakistan which is even unable to play in normal pitches nowadays.He clarified that he used to spin there, and there might still be a slight spin, making the toss important. The team batting later might have an advantage.
Abdul Razzaq and Amir Sohail criticized the fielding strategies and the poor performance of the bowlers during the captaincy. They mentioned that the speed of the opposition bowler doesn't affect good batters; the key is skill.
