ISLAMABAD: King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has thanked President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan for welcoming the Kingdom's proposal to form a Joint Investigation Team to look into the disappearance of Saudi citizen Jamal Khashoggi.
King Salman stressed the desire of the Kingdom for building relations with Turkey as much as the Republic of Turkey was keen on it and said “no one will undermine the strength of this relationship,” a statement from the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs said late Sunday.
President Recep Tayyip Erdogan stressed his appreciation to the “fraternal, distinguished, historical and close relations between the two countries and the two peoples and his keenness to strengthen and develop them.”
