The possibility of appointing a player not selected in the national cricket team as the new captain, preparations to remove Babar Azam from the captaincy, and important decisions taken by the Pakistan Cricket Board in coming week. According to former cricketer Basit Ali, there is a possibility of Shan Masood becoming the new captain of the Test team, while Shahid Afridi may lead the T20 team.
On the other hand, following the national cricket team's poor performance in the Cricket World Cup in India, the Pakistan Cricket Board has initiated plans for significant changes.
There is a possibility of important decisions regarding changes in the coaching staff, especially before Pakistan's tour of Australia. According to media reports, the name of former Australian cricketer Justin Langer is being considered for the coaching role, but some high-ranking officials are advising against making changes due to the upcoming Australia tour.
Meanwhile, PCB officials are awaiting the return of Team Director Mickey Arthur. According to sources, Mickey Arthur is expected to arrive in Lahore from Dubai between November 15 and 16.
After Mickey Arthur's arrival, meetings with management members will commence. PCB is also awaiting reports from the team director, manager, and captain. PCB Chairman will initiate consultations with players in the next one or two days.

Feed back will be taken from Umar Gul, Azhar Ali, Saeed Ajmal, Mushtaq Ahmed, Aqib Javed, Mohsin Hasan Khan, and consultations will be held with former captain Mohammad Hafeez once again.
