Pakistan cricket team captain, Babar Azam, is reportedly seeking advice and contemplating legal action following the leakage of his private chat with a senior Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) official last month. According to sources, Babar Azam is considering taking legal measures against those responsible for the unauthorized disclosure.
The controversy emerged when an alleged "private" WhatsApp conversation between Babar Azam and PCB's Chief Operating Officer (COO), Salman Naseer, was broadcasted live on local TV.
The leaked chat displayed a series of text messages between the captain and the COO. In one segment, Babar Azam refuted claims of trying to contact PCB Management Committee Chairman Zaka Ashraf, while the latter asserted that he did respond to the skipper's calls.
The divulged conversation fueled speculation that the senior management of the PCB might be neglecting or ignoring messages from the team captain. This raised concerns about the relationship dynamics within the cricket board.
Sources have disclosed that Babar Azam is contemplating legal action to address the breach of privacy that led to his personal chat being aired on television. He is currently weighing his options in this matter, reflecting his commitment to protecting the confidentiality of his private communications.
