National Economic Council executive committee meeting takes important decisions

ISLAMABAD - The meeting of Executive Committee of the National Economic Council was held in Islamabad today (Wednesday) with Finance Minister Asad Umar in the chair.
The Committee approved development projects in various areas of the country.
The committee approved power evacuation from hydro power projects of Suki Kinari Mansehra in KP, Kohala Muzaffarabad and Mahal Bagh in AJK at a cost of 79,929.73 million.
The Meeting also approved Sind Solar Energy Project at a cost of 12,848.11 million rupees aiming to support the scale up of solar power in Sindh.
The project will also improve energy security and fulfill Pakistan's international commitments on climate change.
