ISPR respond over murder of SP Tahir Khan Dawar, raises serious questions

*RAWALPINDI - The Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) has responded over the brutal murder of the SP Tahir Khan Dawar.*
*He on Thursday said the slain SP Tahir Khan Dawar’s abduction from Islamabad, his murder in Afghanistan and follow up behavior of Afghan authorities raise questions, indicating “involvement or resources [of] more than a terrorist organisation in Afghanistan.”*
“Brutal murder of SP Tahir in Afg[hanistan] is highly condemnable. We have lost a brave police officer. His abduction, move to Afg, murder and follow up behaviour of Afg authorities raise questions which indicate involvement or resources more than a terrorist organisation in Afg[hanistan],” said Asif Ghafoor, Director General of the military’s media wing in a statement on official Twitter handle.

He further wrote: “While investigations by Pakistani authorities are in process, we reiterate that Afgan security forces to cooperate in border fencing and bilateral border security coordination to deny use of Afghan territory against Pakistan.”

Earlier, Afghan authorities handed over the body of slain SP Tahir Dawar to a jirga comprising tribal elders and MNA Mohsin Dawar.
