No law can be made against Quran, Hadith in country: Yousaf

Minister for Religious Affairs says the declaration form regarding finality of the Prophethood has been restored in its original shape.

Minister for Religious Affairs and Inter-faith Harmony Sardar Muhammad Yousaf says the declaration form regarding finality of the Prophethood has been restored in its original shape and no law can be made against Quran and Hadith in the country.

He said this while addressing a news conference along with Minister of State for Capital Administration and Development Tariq Fazal Chaudhry and Minister of State for Interior Tallal Chaudhry in Islamabad.

The Minister said those who staged sit-in are just teasing the people of twin cities because the matter has been resolved by the government.

Speaking on the occasion, Minister of State for Interior Tallal Chaudhry said the government wants to sort out the matter with protestors through talks but in case of failure the administration will come into action.

He said the government has constituted a committee to probe into the matter.
