Russia says it would not support any sides in US-China trade war

Russia has announced that it would not support any sides in the US-China trade war.

Talking to newsmen in Sochi, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Russia is interested in building independent relations with both China and the United States.

He said the trade war between the US and China have consequences for the global economic climate.

Meanwhile, addressing a press conference in Sochi, Russian presidential aide Yury Ushakov said implementation of the deal for the delivery of Russia’s S-400 air defense system to Turkey is in full swing despite US pressure.

He said Russia is aware of United States attempts to persuade Turkey to suspend the deal.
