ISLAMABAD: Member National Assembly (MNA) of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Sajida Begum Monday said the government was taking financial assistance from International Monetary Fund (IMF) to provide relief to common man.
Talking to media outside the parliament house, she said the opposition was doing a propaganda against the government on the IMF deal for political point scoring, despite the fact that the package would help overcome economic woes.
She said she had visited the food markets of many cities but did not see inflation as being reported in the media.
Sajida said the government was devising public-centric policies, aiming to boost the agriculture and industrial sector growth, which would eventually help uplift the living standard of downtrodden segment of society.
