Kia motors is back in Pakistan with a bang, unveils 4 new models including sportage version

LAHORE –Kia Motors is back in Pakistan with a bang and is partnering with Lucky Cement group. The South Korean automaker, which was earlier manufacturing cars with Deewan Farooque, had stopped its production in 2009.
Recently, Kia Lucky Motors signed an agreement with Ministry of Industries and Production to start the production of light commercial and passenger vehicles in the South Asian country. The agreement took place under Automotive Development Policy 2016-2021.
The official website <link> of KIA Motors Pakistan is now live and has also been linked to the international website. On the website, users are greeted with a welcome that says: “Hello Pakistan! The Power to Surprise’.
The website currently shows four vehicles: three passengers and one commercial.

*Kia Picanto*
Kia Picanto is a 5-door hatchback equipped with 1.0 liter MPI (998cc) and has 5-speed manual & 4-speed automatic transmission. The car produces maximum power of 69PS/ 6,200 rpm and the maximum torque of 9.6kg*m/ 3,500 rpm.4
*Kia Sportage*
Kia Sportage is a compact SUV (Sports Utility Vehicle) and has a seating capacity of five people powered with 2.0 liter Nu Mpi (Multi Point Injection) or 2.4-liter Theta GDI engine.
*Kia Grand Carnival*
Kia Grand Carnival is a 4-door Minivan and has the capacity for 11 persons. The Van is powered by a 3.3-liter V6 engine and an acceleration of 8.6 sec from 0-100 KPH.
*K2700 Pickup*
Kia K2700 is a Pickup truck with a seating capacity for three persons. The pick-up has a 2.7-liter diesel engine and is known for its durability and value. The displacement is up to 2655, maximum power is 80Ps/ 4000rpm and the maximum torque is 16.8kg*m/ 2400rpm.
As of now, the prices of these cars are not revealed and there is no confirmation of which car will be launched by KIA Motors, but only these four are displayed on the main page so there is a quite high chance that these four cars will be the first ones to be launched.
