Germany Parliament elects Angela Merkel for 4th term

In Germany, Chancellor Angela Merkel was elected for fourth term by the parliament today.
She got 364 votes against 315 with nine abstentions.
The conservative Merkel has formed a grand coalition with the Social Democrats after a long political instability following the September election.
The conservatives had got thirty three per cent votes in the election. APP/AFP
