The media group declared “breach of contract” in their lawsuit against the artists and their respective agents, Matrix India Entertainment Consultants Private Limited and Yashraj Films Private Limited.

According to the complaint, in 2013, Vibrant Media Group had hired the artists to appear live and perform at the concert ‘Celebrating 100 years of Indian Cinema’, which was to be held on September 1, 2013.

Due to Salman’s legal proceedings in Rajasthan at the time, he was unable to leave India, resulting in the cancellation of the show. However, the media house had agreed to postpone the event, not cancel it.
