THE HAGUE – International Court of Justice (ICJ) has rejected Indian plea of granting injunction order against convicted spy, Kulbhushan Jadhav for six months and has ordered the state to file case by September 13 this year, sources reported on Thursday.
The international court is likely to hear death row inmate Jadhav’s case in January 2018.
Reportedly, ICJ has ordered India to file a case by September 13 and has granted Pakistan time until December 13 to file a reply.
Sources have reported that office of the registrar of the International Court of Justice has formally informed the Government of Pakistan about the development.
India took to the international court in May seeking stay to convicted spy’s execution upon which the panel ordered Pakistan to halt implementation of the verdict of the military court until further order.
