Nawaz, Zardari played last political innings: Fawad Ch

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Chaudhry Fawad Hussain said that Asif Ali Zardari of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), and Nawaz Sharif of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N), had played their last political innings in the country.

Both the political leaders of PPP and PML-N, did not earn even a single rupee from any work, he stated while talking to a private news channel.
Asif Ali Zardari and Nawaz Sharif, played gimmicks with the national institutions and accumulated the money from kick backs and commissions, he said.

Through model like Ayan Ali, and unlawful means, these political partners had sent billions of dollars outside of this country, he added.
The Opposition leaders do not want accountability of their misdeeds or plundered money, he said adding they wanted to engage the assembly to avoid talking on real issues of the people.

He was of the view, they (Opposition), should talk about the water issues or other public interest matters rather to make hue and cry over non-issues.
The Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI), government had to face 19 billions deficit, due to weak policies and lack of interest of past governments.

The people had used their right of votes in favour of PTI chief Imran Khan, and expected aggressive accountability against the elements involved in money laundering, the minister stated.
The masses had expectation from PTI government, he said adding that we want accountability to continue against such elements who looted the national money.

To a question Fawad Hussain said Panama issue was raised under the leadership of Imran Khan.
The PTI had launched a countrywide campaign against the elements involved in Panama issue, he added.
No doubt, the Chief Justice of Pakistan Saqib Nisar, deserve applauds or credit goes to him, for working largely in the public interest.

In reply to a question he said that Murad ali Shah had played key role in money laundering and other lethal activities, adding that Faryal Talpur, Asif Ali Zardari, could not achieve success without Murad ali Shah, the chief minister of Sindh.
Both the leaders including Asif Ali Zardari and Nawaz Sharif had badly exposed before the public due to corruption charges, he said.

The leader of PPP and PML-N, had lost credibility among their voters due to money laundering, information minister said.
About the role of National Accountability Bureau (NAB), Fawad Hussain stated that the institution performed well under the chairmanship of Justice (R) Javed Iqbal.
Commenting on mini budget being presented in couple of days, he said that the PTI government had brought down the rate of inflation.
In reply to a question about finance minister he said Asad Umer holds full capability to run the affairs of the finance.

As far as rising prices of items were concerned, he said the duty on imported items like mobile phones, cosmetics and other luxury items, had been increased because we wanted to promote local industry. This step was taken in the larger interest of the local industry and that should be flourished, he added.
He said that PM Imran Khan desires to streamline the local government system so that the real democracy and leadership could emerge for benefiting the people of this country.

To a question about military courts, he said Pakistan had to face immense trouble due to terrorism, adding that establishment of military courts was imperative to deal the cases of hard core terrorists.
He said the matter of extension of military courts, would be discussed with PPP and PML-N.
About speeches of Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif, he said it was the phenomena of the PML-N leaders to divert the attentions of the public at the forum of assembly to avoid accountability process.
