Pakistani university professor sexually assault, blackmail female students

ISLAMABAD - The head of department in Bhakkar’s University of Sargodha has been accused of sexual harassment by a female student.
A first information report (FIR) has been registered against the varsity’s Mathematics department’s head Sajid Iqbal.
The alleged victim, identified as S*, lodged the complaint through her father.
According to the FIR, Iqbal used to call students to his university room where he sexually harassed and blackmailed them.
The victim has also made a Facebook page where she released a video statement against the accused professor.
“Our family has been receiving threats by Sajid Iqbal, owing to this we have stopped sending our daughter to the university,” Muhammad Yaqoob, the father of the victim, said.
