President’s message to his Chinese counterpart over new year celebrations

ISLAMABAD - Chinese New Year will be celebrated tomorrow amid fireworks, family reunions and watching traditional lion dances.
It is celebrated in China and countries that have a significant Chinese population, including Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Mauritius, Australia, and the Philippines.
In his message on the occasion of the Chinese New Year and Jashn-e-Baharan, President Mamnoon Hussain says Pakistan and China are connected in all-weather friendship and both the countries stood with each other in every thick and thin.
He said both the countries are engaged in all-round cooperation, setting a shining example of friendly state-to-state relations.
He said China Pakistan Economic Corridor project has infused a new impetus to the already strong bonds between the two countries.
The President said the strong people to people relation between the two counties will also open new vistas in the relations between Pakistan and China.
