Finance ministry clarifies news item regarding foreign loans

ISLAMABAD:Spokesman of Ministry of Finance on Wednesday clarified that Adviser to Prime Minister on Finance, Dr Miftah Ismail has not issued any statement regarding expected foreign loans and grants saying that the facts and figures quoted by a section of media was totally wrong and baseless.
In a statement issued here by the Finance Ministry, the spokesman said that a section of media had published a
baseless reports on February 12, misquoting Miftah Ismail regarding facts and figures of the external loans.APP/AFP
