Salman Akram Raja, the counsel of Hussain Nawaz and Hassan Nawaz is presented his arguments.

Presenting his argument, Salman Akram Raja said that the court put forward eight questions, adding that this is neither a trial nor his client is a witness.

He said that they have submitted a fact sheet in which brief answers to the questions are available, adding that all record of Sharif family had been usurped in 1999; hence, it is not possible for Sharif family to produce record of the last 45 years.

However, he expressed his inability to provide complete documents of the ownership of the London apartments. “It is not possible to produce every document related to the money trail,” he accepted.

The counsel argued that it is proven that the properties in question were not owned by Sharif Family in 1999, Al-Thani Family purchased these flats between 1993 and 1996 and handed over the bearer certificates to Hussain Nawaz in January 2006.

The counsel of Hussain Nawaz and Hassan Nawaz said that the record is not present at the moment.

The counsel submitted that the family of Prime Minister has a history of business and multiple members of the family are in the business. He said it will be wrong to say that that they established the business by some wrong doing.

The counsel said it is also unprecedented that a family has been asked to present property record of last forty to forty five years.

Salman Akram Raja said there is no gap that Hussain Nawaz is the owner of Nielson and Nescol.
