Security agencies foil terrorism bid: ISPR

RAWALPINDI: (APP) The security agencies Wednesday foiled a terrorism bid after the personnel spotted two suicide bombers and challenged them at the office gate of Political Agent in Mohmand agency.
The security agencies had the intelligence about intrusion of suicide bombers from Afghanistan into the Mohmand agency.
"One suicide bomber blew himself up once spotted and challenged by security agencies at the gate of PA office while other was shot by the sentries at the gate," an ISPR press release said.
Following the incident, the security agencies were carrying out a combing operation in the area.
