COAS General Raheel Sharif appointed as Colonel of the Battalion of the regiment

ISLAMABAD: Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif has been appointed as Colonel of the sixth Battalion of the regiment. As per ISPR statement, the badges of sixth Battalion of Frontier Force Regiment were hinged on Army Chief shoulder by Retired senior officers of the Regiment. Army Chief Raheel Sharif got commission in the same Frontier Force Battalion. It is also important to mention here that Army Chief elder brother Major Shabbir Sharif Nishan e Haider was also linked with the same Battalion. The responsibility of the Battalion Commander is to look after the former officers of Battalion.
