US dollar loses value against Pakistani Rupee in interbank trade

KARACHI – The value of US dollar on Wednesday, declined by 43 paisas against Pakistani rupee, in interbank market.

After this decline, dollar value is traded around Rs 123.50. The buying price of dollar is Rs 122.00 while selling price is Rs 124.

On the other hand, Asian stocks retreated to a one-year low as bearish Chinese markets worsened investor sentiment already hurt by Turkey’s financial crisis.

Spreadbetters expected European stocks to open slightly higher, with Britain’s FTSE .FTSE seen rising 0.2 percent, Germany’s DAX .GDAXI adding 0.1 percent and France’s CAC .FCHI gaining 0.15 percent.

MSCI’s broadest index of Asia-Pacific shares outside Japan .MIAPJ0000PUS slid more than 1 percent to its lowest since August 2017, after bouncing 0.4 percent the previous day when the Turkish lira showed signs of stabilizing.
