ISLAMABAD - The APHC-AJK chapter held a protest demonstration outside Indian High Commission in Islamabad to mark India’s Independence Day as Black Day.
In Belgium, a large number of people including representatives of different organisations based in this and other European countries joined a protest demonstration in front of the Indian Embassy in Brussels, today (Wednesday).
The event was organized by Kashmir Council Europe. Similar protests and rallies were also held in London and other parts of the world.
Meanwhile, a big rally was taken out in Mirpur on Wednesday to observe the Indian Independence day as black day.
A large number of people from all walks of life took part in the rally.
Workers of various political parties and civil society registered their protest against the illegal Indian occupation of major parts of Jammu and Kashmir.
They highlighted the importance of early and peaceful settlement of Kashmir issue, and urged the United Nations to play its due role in this regard.
Various political, religious, social and human rights organizations also held anti-India rallies in various other parts of Mirpur division.
