PM Imran Khan didnot ask COAS for help to settle political crisis, PTI rejects DG ISPR statement

Former Pakistan Human Rights Minister and PTI leader Shirin Mazari has said that Imran Khan, as Prime Minister, did not ask the army to help end the "political deadlock".

"Let me make it clear," the former minister said in a statement on Twitter on Friday. And I say on the record that the Prime Minister did not ask the army to help end the political deadlock.

He said the army had called for a meeting with then-Defense Minister Pervez Khattak and then raised three suggestions that the prime minister should resign or face a no-confidence motion or hold new elections.
