LAHORE:Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar said on Sunday that sustainable development of every city of Punjab and bringing backward areas at par with developed ones was his aim and the cities, which had been ignored in the past would be provided with exemplary development funds.
Talking to various delegations here at his office, he added that fate of every city would be changed to better in new Pakistan.
In the past, he said, development resources were spent on few cities only and national interests were not prioritized, and the past rulers also deprived many cities of Punjab under their specific agenda, while their wrong policies had kept on adding to common man’s miseries.
Sardar Usman Buzdar said, PTI government was putting in place a comprehensive strategy to ensure equality among all districts of Pakistan in the upcoming budget that would provide proportional resources for development of every city and town of the province. Chief Minister said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan, foundation of ‘New Pakistan’ had been laid and “A common man will stand confidently in new Pakistan as we are of the mind that let our work speak by itself.”
The era of plundering and looting national resources had now been over, as the PTI government deemed it-self as guardian of national resources and PTI had no other agenda but to serve people, as New Pakistan based on new ideas and zeal, and they would not allow anybody to hinder development process. “Our vision is to eliminate difference between the poor and the rich,” he vowed.
