Heavy Rains play havoc in Riyadh Saudi Arabia 




RIYADH: Heavy Rains played havoc in Riyadh Saudi Arabia and Yemen.

 

Officials claimed that at least 43 people have lost their lives and thousands are stranded in different places.

 

Heavy rainfall caused widespread flooding that damaged property and created traffic chaos.

 

Civil defence emergency department and Rescue teams started working to help the stranded people.

 

 Emergency call center were established and government authorities advised people to stay away from affected areas.

 

Saudi defence official claimed that they received 26,000 calls and 915 people were rescued from inside their vehicles by the department.

 

All educational institutes remained closed in wake of sever downpours.
