Pakistan invites French Businessmen to invest in CPEC trade opportunity

ISLAMABAD, SEP 13 (APP): Finance Minister, Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar Tuesday urged French industrialists, businessmen and investors to invest in Pakistan.
The minister was addressing MEDEF in Paris. MEDEF is a forum of French businessmen and enterprises, having 800,000 members across France.
The minister said the investment climate in Pakistan is conducive to the European investment, according to a statement of ministry of finance.
The population of 200 million offers business friendly opportunities to Foreign Firms, he said adding the foreign companies working in Pakistan are having un-paralleled profits.
Pakistan offers business investment package which no other country from the region has offered, he said.
The finance minister said Pakistan's strategic location makes it an attractive destination for foreign investment.
Pakistan has attained 4.7% growth rate which is better than the growth achieved in the last 8 years.
The French companies should take full benefit of China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project which will link Pakistan with Afghanistan CARs and Europe, he added.
There has been an un-paralleled investment in North Wazirstan despite security fears, he said adding Karachi is opening up for various investment opportunities for foreign investment including France.
