Indian National Airline plane makes emergency landing at Karachi Airport

An Indian passenger plane made an emergency landing at Karachi's Jinnah International Airport. According to the Civil Aviation Authority, Air India Express flight IX192 was en route from Dubai to Amritsar when a passenger on board fell ill near Koh Patan, in Balochistan, Pakistan.

Upon contacting the pilot, air traffic control granted permission for the plane to land at Karachi Airport.The Boeing 737 aircraft landed at Karachi's Jinnah International Airport at 12:19 PM.

A medical team from Civil Aviation conducted an examination of the passenger on board, and according to aviation authorities, the Indian citizen's condition was not well.

A medical team provided medical assistance to the passenger. The airport's border security personnel instructed the passenger to disembark for travel arrangements, and the aircraft took off for Amritsar at 2:25 PM.

It should be noted that earlier in March, an Indian plane had made an emergency landing in Karachi due to the death of a passenger during the flight. The Indian aircraft was on a domestic flight from Panjgur in Balochistan, flying eastward 16 nautical miles, when the pilot requested to divert it towards Karachi.

The pilot requested doctors and an ambulance, stating that a 60-year-old Nigerian citizen was having difficulty breathing, and their pulse had stopped. After confirmation of the passenger's death by doctors at Karachi Airport, the aircraft departed with the deceased Nigerian citizen's remains for burial.
