Another Pakistan Army official martyred in a deadly encounter with terrorists

During an intelligence-based operation in the vicinity of Mir Ali, North Waziristan district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Saturday, a soldier made the ultimate sacrifice in an exchange of fire with terrorists, as reported by the Inter-Services Public Relations.

The military's media wing released a statement confirming the elimination of at least six terrorists, with eight others sustaining injuries during the firefight with security forces.

The operation was executed based on intelligence about the presence of terrorists. The brave soldier who lost his life was Sepoy Abdul Hakeem, aged 33, hailing from Naseerabad district in Balochistan. He displayed immense courage, according to the ISPR.

The operation also resulted in the recovery of weapons and ammunition from the site. These terrorists had been actively involved in acts of terrorism against security forces and the ruthless targeting of innocent civilians.

Efforts to sanitize the area are underway to eradicate any remaining terrorists. The local residents of the area expressed their appreciation for the operation and pledged full support in the ongoing fight against terrorism, as stated by the ISPR.
