Polling for by-elections on 35 National, Provincial Assemblies seats underway

Polling for By-elections on thirty five constituencies of National and Provincial Assmblies has begun across the country.
Three hundred and seventy candidates are in the run for the elections to be held on eleven National Assembly and twenty four Provincial Assemblies' seats.
The Election Commission of Pakistan has completed all the arrangements for smooth conduct of the polls.
Over seven thousand and four hundred polling stations have been set up for the by polls. Of these, 1727 have been categorized as highly sensitive.
Overseas Pakistanis will also vote for the first time in the by-polls whereas the Election Commission has established a control room for guidance of Overseas Pakistanis.
The Election Commission has also directed media channels not to broadcast results of the by-elections before 6 p.m.
