Khawaja brothers move LHC for transfer of NAB inquiries

LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leaders Khawaja Saad Rafique and Khawaja Salman Rafique have filed a petition in the Lahore High Court (LHC) seeking transfer of inquiries against them from National Accountability Bureau's Lahore region to some other region.
The petitioners questioned the neutrality of the NAB officer, conducting the probe and submitted that the investigations carried out against them were motivated.
They pleaded with the court for issuance of directions for transfer of the inquiries against them.
It is pertinent to mention that NAB Lahore had initiated various inquiries, including Paragon City scam, against the two brothers.
The Khawaja brothers had obtained interim bail from the LHC till November 14.
