PM Imran Khan briefs PTI lawmakers over important issues including IMF package, Amnesty Scheme and upcoming budget

ISLAMABAD - Prime Minister Imran Khan says government is taking concrete measures to put the national economy on right path.
He was speaking at a meeting with Parliamentarians of ruling PTI and allied parties in Islamabad.
Prime Minister said the government prefers public and national interest to any petty political gains.
He said rights of the people and national interests will be protected at all costs.
Imran Khan said the PTI government would bring about all the necessary reforms promised by it in its election manifesto.
The Prime Minister briefed the parliamentarians about government's policies for bringing economic stability in the country.
He also took them into confidence about the upcoming budget for the fiscal year 2019-20 and Pakistan's dialogue with the IMF for six billion dollars of package.
The Prime Minister also informed the members of parliament about the proposed Amnesty Scheme for Declaration of Assets.
Imran Khan directed the Parliamentarians to keep in touch with the people of their constituencies for resolving their problems.
