Govt taking steps to improve capabilities of armed forces: Dastgir

ISLAMABAD:Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman paid a farewell call on Defence Minister Engineer Khurram Dastgir Khan in Islamabad on Wednesday.
The Defence Minister lauded meritorious services of the Air Chief during his long tenure.
He also appreciated Sohail Aman for his role in strengthening the air defence of the country and increasing capabilities of the air force by putting it on modern lines.
Talking to the Air Chief, the Minister said the government is taking all necessary steps to improve capabilities of the armed forces so that they can tackle all challenges and ensure fool proof defence of the boundaries. APP/AFP
