Pakistan Cricket team is mentally and physically fit for T20 World Cup: Shahid Afridi

KOLKATA: Pakistan T20 skipper Shahid Afridi claimed that Pakistan Cricket Team is mentally and physically fit to tackle all challenges in ICC T20 World Cup.

 

He said “We practiced today and we are mentally and physically prepared for the game.”

 

He claimed that we received more love and respect in India than from Pakistan.

 

He claimed that India performed well in Asia Cup but now our team is prepared for the game.He was speaking to a press conference in Kolkata.

 

Pakistan team will play a warm up match against Sri Lanka on Monday and will play its first match of the event against Bangladesh.

 

Pakistan will play the important match of the event against rival India on March 19 in Eden Garden Kolkata.

 

Pakistan has received several threat calls from Hindu extremist organizations.

 

The match was to be played in Dharamshala cricket stadium but venue was changed due to security concerns.
